Area V of the American Guild Of English Handbell Ringers (AGEHR) is governed by a Board of Directors.  Some of those board members are elected by AGEHR members who reside in Area V (Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and West Virginia) and some members are in appointed positions.  Elected offices are Chair, Chair-elect, Secretary, and Treasurer; each serves two years in a term.  The Chair-elect moves up to the position of Chair after their two years in the Chair-elect office.

 

Appointed offices include the five State Chairs, who rely on a network of District Leaders to keep in touch with our membership. The Education Chair and Membership Chair are appointed by the area Chair and they, in turn, select a State Chair for their area of responsibility.  Editor of the Tintinnbulator and Financial Administrator are also positions that are filled by the Chair.
